 Buying a house is an emotional experience;  on one hand it’s totally exhilarating and at the same time, it’s incredibly frightening.   Building your dream home starts long before a foundation is poured.  For my wife and I, the process started when we first created our dream home in our heads.  When we finally decided to build, our next step was to find a builder who cared as much about creating our dream home as we did.   

 We went with Lockie Homes, because president Todd Lockie’s view on quality matched our own and we appreciated his approach of working hand in hand with his clients.  Todd walked Tarri and I completely through the process from beginning to end.  His hands on approach helped take some of the anxiety and fear out of the process of building a new home.  Todd was different from other builders we talked to in that he always treated us like valued customers.  As issues came up (as they do with any project), Todd was incredibly responsive and what really stood out for us, is that his decisions were ultimately made on what was best for the customer.  I believe this is an extremely rare and differentiating attribute of Lockie Homes. 

An added value to going with Lockie Homes we didn’t expect but were extremely grateful for was the involvement of Mary Lockie in our interior design.  Mary’s talent for putting colors & patterns together for our interior design played a large part in the final look of our home.  The result was better than anything my wife and I could have conceived on our own.  She was great at  listening to our needs and then giving us suggestions about surfaces, designs and then working these ideas into our budget.  Having this expertise available to us was a pleasant surprise and it turned out to be critical component of building our home.  

When you make the choice to build a home, it’s important you to choose a builder who prioritizes quality, demonstrates craftsmanship and treats you like a valued customer.  Lockie Home’s excels at these attributes.
